Biographical Information

Dr. Gabriela E. Romero is a Full Professor and Department Head of English, Languages, and Interdisciplinary Studies in the College of Arts and Humanities at Lindenwood University. She earned her MA in Spanish, a Graduate Certificate in Language Instruction, and her Ph.D. in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from Washington University in St. Louis. She also holds a degree in English and Teacher Training. She has extensive teaching experience, both domestically and abroad, designing and teaching online and on-ground courses. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and received awards in teaching and writing. She also presents papers in conferences domestically and abroad. As a leader, she strives to develop her team members as committed contributors to the mission and vision of the institution.
