Course Description

Collections of linked short stories have grown in popularity in the last twenty years with the success of iconic works such as Jennifer Egan成人视频檚 A Visit from the Goon Squad and Elizabeth Strout成人视频檚 Olive Kitteridge.聽 In this course, we will consider the challenges, possibilities, and approaches to writing a series of linked stories by way of reading several and discussing their inner workings.聽 Students will also have a chance to write and workshop two such stories of their own and develop a rough plan for further connected work.
