How ParaEdge Works
- Paraprofessionals self-identify as employees of a partner district for streamlined admission/advising.
- Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) available for up to 9 hours at graduate level: candidates submit documentation (employment, LETRS training if applicable, mentorship verification, principal confirmation).
- District成人视频揢niversity partnership: Lindenwood provides coursework, mentoring, advising, and certification guidance; districts provide authentic instructional experience.
- Practicum & observation flexibility: completed in the candidate成人视频檚 current school site.
- CPL credit posting fee aligns with catalog: $100 per credit (applies to experiential credits).
- Individualized pathways created by dedicated Education Advisors.
Experiential Credit (Up to 9 Graduate Hours)
Approved experiential credits may include EDU 50000, EDU 51000, and EDU 50600 (based on verified eligibility).
Certification Options
- MAT: Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary, and Special Education
- FTAC: Middle and High School (Temporary Authorization Certificate)
- FTAC: Special Education (Temporary Authorization Certificate)
- Transcript review to identify the fastest route (AAT Core 42 preferred).
- BA: Early Childhood, Elementary and Special Education
- BA: Educational Studies (includes certification options in Middle School and Secondary content areas)
