Required Prerequisite

Students must complete prerequisite coursework that provides content knowledge in biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, anatomy, physiology, exercise physiology, and nutrition. Students must earn a C or better in all associated coursework, and these courses must be completed or scheduled to be completed prior to the time of entry into the program.

The athletic training program is based on a cohort model and follows a degree plan with a specific sequence of courses. All courses with the AT prefix are only offered one time each year, and prerequisite courses are required for enrollment in most courses.
